Weekly Torah Portion: Beha’alotcha
June 10, 2008 - 7 Sivan, 5768
Light to the Nations – with Rabbi Chaim Richman
Weekly series of short messages concerning the weekly Torah Portion.
The children of Israel build the tabernacle which sits still when covered by the cloud but the lifting of the cloud is a sign that it is time to move on. So too, in our own lives. We create our own tabernacle, so to speak, a meeting place with G-d. Sometimes this appointed place becomes covered with clouds of doubt and spiritual stagnation. When the cloud lifts it is a sign from G-d that it is time to dispel doubt and move on in our spiritual journey.
