The Month of Nisan

Light to the Nations – with Rabbi Chaim Richman of The Temple Institute.

Weekly series with new teachings available every Thursday.

The first day of Nisan is the day of the declaration of independence from Egypt, and also, one year later, the day that G-d’s presence in the tabernacle became manifest to the Israelites. No wonder “the heavens rejoice and the earth is glad” as Nisan rolls around.

The Purim Special

Light to the Nations – with Rabbi Chaim Richman of The Temple Institute.

Weekly series with new teachings available every Thursday.

Rabbi Richman lets down his hair, and everything seems a little upside-down in this week’s Light to the Nations special teaching. Why is Purim the only normal day of the year? How does the Purim feast transport us to the sublime spiritual level of the world to come? How does the celebration of Purim, replete with food, drink and merriment lead to true joy and make tangible the words of Zachariah: “In that day shall the L-rd be One and his name one.” The Rabbi has the answers to all these questions, and much, much more…

Please visit us at Temple Institute.
