Temple Talk is a weekly internet radio webcast with Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven of the Temple Institute.

This week features:

The Pope, The Mufti, And Other Great Men Of Peace

Rabbi Akiva’s Laughter And The Temple Mount Today: A Jerusalem Day Primer

Jerusalem DayYitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman join the entire nation of Israel in celebrating the joyous holiday of Jerusalem Day, marking the 47th anniversary of the holy city’s liberation and reunification. The holiness and eternity of Jerusalem emanates from the Temple Mount, its very heart. This week, Pope Francis visited Israel and stopped off at the Temple Mount, where he embraced the Mufti of Jerusalem, the very same Mufti who has repeatedly called for the annihilation of the Jews.

This week’s Temple Talk presents an honest, straightforward and very politically incorrect summary of the Pope’s visit and what it was really all about. Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman totally unplugged! Not a show for the faint-hearted.

The twelve flags of the twelve tribes of Israel: From where did they come? What did they signify? Why was Israel so desirous of these twelve flags? “He brought me to his chamber of wine, and his flag above me was love.”  Song of Songs 2:4

The twelve flags were expressions of Israel’s longing to be focused on G-d and His purpose for us in this world.

Stand Tall: Entering the Land of Israel

Growing Consensus: Jewish Prayer on the Temple Mount Must be Guaranteed!

IyarWe say goodbye to the Book of Leviticus and once again find ourselves in the wilderness as we begin our reading of the Book of Numbers. Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven say fare thee well to Leviticus while taking note of Leviticus’ parting words of advice to us: Be the best you can be and the land promised you by G-d will welcome you with open arms.

Preparing for their imminent entry into the land of Israel the children of Israel raise their tribal banners and take their rightful places side by side, encircling the Holy Tabernacle within. Today in the land of Israel more and more Jews are raising the banner of G-d and and streaming in numbers to the Temple Mount, the living, breathing heart of the nation.

Keeping the Shmitta  – Sabbatical – year, and the Yovel  – Jubilee- in the land of Israel is an essential element of the nation of Israel’s relationship to the land of Israel, and our recognition that the land and all who dwell upon it, belong to HaShem.
