Temple Institute Shows

The Temple Institute is dedicated to bringing about spiritual revolution and preparing for the building of the Holy Temple of Jerusalem, in our time.

On the second night of Chanuka, 5768 (December 6, 2007), the golden menora prepared by the Temple Institute and fit for use in the Holy Temple, was moved from the archaeological site of the Roman Cardo in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, to its new location, alongside the Yehudah Halevi staircase leading from the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall Plaza. There it overlooks the Temple Mount, site of the future Holy Temple. A small move, perhaps, for the golden menora, but a giant leap forward for mankind, as the rebuilding of the House of G-d becomes one step closer.

In light of recent developments and the rapidly deteriorating situation on the Temple Mount, the New Jewish Congress, whose inaugural conference took place in Jerusalem on the same day of the Annapolis summit, has decided to directly approach the government of Ehud Olmert, and demand freedom for Jews to assemble in prayer on the Temple Mount, site of the Holy Temple, where Jews are, in fact, commanded to be seen by G-d.

The Hamas terror organization, with the tacit cooperation of the Olmert government of Israel, is broadcasting incitement against the Jews and the Jewish state, from the Temple Mount.

Is this Prime Minister Olmert’s gift to the Jewish people on the tenth of Tevet fast day commemorating the breeching of the walls of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BCE?

Following is a joint statement issued by the New Jewish Congress, the Holy Temple and Temple Mount movements, and the Sanhedrin.

Od avinu chai! Our father lives on! Jacob our forefather never died! How is this possible? By living life on such a rarified level, and understanding even the most difficult of travails to be the will of G-d, Jacob was able to step from this world to the next without the trauma of death.

Vayechi (Genesis 47:28-50:26)
Parashat Vayechi is read on Shabbat:
Tevet 13, 5768/December 22, 2007

Bat Melech, with Rena Richman.

Bat Melech teachings appear biweekly.

As with their male counterparts, the Torah’s intention toward women is one of empowerment, enabling women, through their unique strengths and through the commandments with which they have been entrusted, to achieve tikkun – rectification – in the world. This week’s teaching focuses on the creation of Adam and Chava, (Eve), man and woman.
