The Angel of Death and the Secret of the Incense
The New Month of Tammuz, Repentance, and the Rebellion of Korach: It’s Too Late, Baby
The month of Tammuz has arrived… hot, tense, and traditionally, tragic. This is the month which marks the ‘beginning of the end,’ the period of mourning for the destruction of the Holy Temple which begins with the fast of Tammuz 17. But in this week’s edition of Temple Talk, Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Chaim Richman insist that the month of Tammuz doesn’t have to be that way. It’s a time of challenge that presents us with an opportunity to fix mistakes of the past. We can start by healing the negative aspects of our vision, and endeavor to see only good. It’s a time for walking forward and being positive. So stop walking sideways, like a crab! If you want to know what that means, tune in to this week’s dynamic edition of Temple Talk!

This week’s Torah portion of Parashat Shelach features the horrendous sin of the spies, an event of such catastrophic proportions that we are still suffering from it today. In this informative and emotional edition of Temple Talk, Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Chaim Richman take a long hard look at the ever-fashionable trend of slandering the Land of Israel, from the spies of the desert to today’s BDS movement, and, in Bob Dylan’s words, try to find out what price we have to pay to get out of going through all these things twice. If you’re interested in fixing the sin of the spies once and for all, tune in to this week’s edition of Temple Talk.

Introducing the Book of Numbers
The First Fruits of Shavuot, the Holy Temple and the Land of Israel: It’s the Real Thing
New Beginnings: This week Israel begins to read the fourth book of Torah, Bamidbar, the book of Numbers which tells the story of the generation of the desert… the generation that received the Torah at Mount Sinai. This week we have also begun the new month of Sivan, and in just a few days we will be observing the Festival of Shavuot. Shavuot is the culmination of our seven week counting of the Omer… the anniversary of the Sinai Revelation, the giving of the Torah, marked by the bringing of first fruits to the Holy Temple. This week’s passionate edition of Temple Talk focuses on Shavuot and the significance of our generation receiving the Torah anew. What will it take for us to make our acquisition of Torah real? What will it take for us to stem and cauterize the tide of anarchy on the holy Temple Mount? Join Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman as they connect the dots between the deteriorating situation on the Temple Mount, the Holy Temple, and Shavuot… and our own children, the generation that will truly receive the Torah at Sinai and rebuild the Holy Temple.
