A prophet might fail to grasp the complete meaning of his prophecy as with Yonah. It is also possible that a truth be revealed to a prophet and he not ascertain its full meaning. This, for example, is what happened in the case of Yonah. In his prophecy, he was told, “Nineveh will be overturned (Yonah 3:4).”
