Biblical Faith – with Sam Peak
Weekly series with new shows available every Tuesday.

A prophet might fail to grasp the complete meaning of his prophecy as with Yonah. It is also possible that a truth be revealed to a prophet and he not ascertain its full meaning. This, for example, is what happened in the case of Yonah. In his prophecy, he was told, “Nineveh will be overturned (Yonah 3:4).” In I King 22:5, we read how the false prophets were “prophesying” in Achav’s presence. This means they were exerting themselves and doing things that normally would bring about a prophetic revelation. The vision they were seeking, however, was nothing more than an evil revelation.
