Rachav welcomed and conspired with the Israelite spies who were sent by Yehoshua to discover and report on the strengths and weaknesses of the city of Yericho. But why did they choose her residence to serve as the locale of their first foray into the land of Israel? Why did Rachav willingly offer her cooperation in the demise of her own people?
