The Chamber of the Priestly Garments

August 20, 2008 - 19 Av, 5768

Light to the Nations – with Rabbi Chaim Richman of The Temple Institute.

Weekly series with new teachings available every Thursday.

Maimonides’ Laws of the Chosen House, chapter five: Eight chambers open into the Court of the Israelites. Two of those chambers, the Griddle Cake Makers Chamber and the Chamber of Pinchas the Haberdasher, straddle either side of the Nikanor Gate located in the eastern wall of the Israelite Court. The Chamber of Pinchas is where the priestly garments were manufactured, stored and distributed to the priests beginning their duty at the Holy Temple.
